Rene Russo was born in Burbank California. She was the daughter of Shirley (Balocca) who was a barmaid as well as factory worker and Nino Russo. Rene's father also worked as a technician and sculptor, abandoned the family when Rene turned two. Rene and Toni were and raised by a single mother.
